Ladies and Gentlemen, we’d like you to welcome our guest artist of honor this year: Mr. Ant Lucia!
Ant Lucia has worked in illustration/design for over 15 yrs. His passion for comics, horror, scifi, vintage pin-ups, & design fuse together to create his own brand of modern pop culture pin up art. His art can be found in retail spots across the country as well as internationally.
Ant is currently working w/ DC Collectibles on the new “DC Bombshells” statue line.

FCBD QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS QUICK GUIDE: 1) Will there be a sale? YES there will be a sale on FCBD! 20% OFF EVERYTHING IN THE STORE! ALL DAY LONG! NOTE: EXCLUDES ITEMS ALREADY ON SALE
2) Do you have enough parking? YES! Bring your friends!
3) What time does FCBD start and end? Guests will be here 10am-6pm. The store will be open 10am-6pm!
4) Will there be artists? Oh, yes! OVER 10 local and regional artists will be here. We have rented the dance studio next door to make room! We have a list of artists that will be here. Scroll down and check ‘em out!
5) Do the artists charge for sketches? For FCBD, most of these fine artists draw sketches for FREE! Feel free to commission a paid drawing or buy some of their comics though!
6) Do I need to bring my camera? YES! Costumed characters will be posing for photo ops! We are having a costume contest this year so expect lots of costumes! If you or someone you love has a costume that they would like to wear at FCBD let ‘em know! They might even win a prize!

Denise Pratt – Denise Pratt is a comic artist/fan artist and costumer living in Red Oak, Iowa. She has been drawing and making art for as long as she can remember, and has been working on getting her first comic, Banshee Illuminated, published. Kyle Morton – Kyle Morton is a freelance artist living in Lincoln, Nebraska. He is the artist of IDW Publishing’s ‘The Hollow Planet’, written by ‘Kids In The Hall’ alum Scott Thompson, and is also a proud contributor to several anthologies from St. Louis-based publisher Ink & Drink Comics. Fredd Gorham – Fredd Gorham is a freelance artist living in Omaha, Nebraska. Fredd has worked on a number of comic book, gaming, and sketchcard projects for companies such as Marvel, DC Comics, Dark Horse, Breygent, Wizards of the Coast and others. He runs Steel Angel Studios with his wife Linda, and hosts the Krypton Comics Artist Jam (which has been running for 9 years). Zombie Oaks – Tank-Zombie Studios is the collaborative efforts of Author/Illustrators Axton Kahler and Jesse Kiefer. Axton is the creator and space rocket pilot behind www.zombieoakscomic.com, and “The Zombie Next Door: awkward moments seen through the eyes of the undead”. Anastasia Waymire – Anastasia is a artist who specializes in chibi and dragon artwork. Come see her stuff!
Jesse Kirk – A longtime Artist Jam regular, Jesse is a manga inspired artist with a great eye for art.
Jared Sloger – Owner of Blue Tiger Studios. Jared Sloger is a freelance graphic designer and traditional artist from Omaha, Nebraska who specializes in sci-fi, fantasy, wildlife, and anthropomorphic art. His work includes story boarding, illustration, and conceptual design. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Art Management from Bellevue University, and a Graphic Design degree from Metropolitan Community College.

Kathleen “Kat” Clark – Kat’s love for comic books and nerdom began with Saturday morning cartoons (X-Men, TMNT, Power Rangers, etc.) and it was a quick spiral downward from there. Comics/manga, cartoons/anime, video games, RPG’s, cosplay…I like to consider myself a well rounded nerd.
