How was your Halloween ComicFest event? Very fun to see people come out in costumes. We had a decent turnout, but nothing like Free Comic Book Day.

What has been your best promotion or event? Free Comic Book Day is always a big day for us. We typically have multiple cosplayers hanging out and taking pics with kids. Our game room is turned into a room all about free comics and all the fun that goes along with FCBD.

What recent changes have you made in the store? We moved to this larger location in September 2015. We have recently added better shelving and rearranged to have things like DC Pops near DC TPs. Grouping as many similar items as possible to make finding everything easier, especially for our tourists.

What steps have you taken to expand your customer base or to reach out to individuals unfamiliar with your store or comics in general? We focus on making anyone who comes into our location feel comfortable. Emphasizing how we are here to help and answer any questions or explain how everything works. Many people that come in our shop for the first time tell us how helpful we are and how comfortable we make them feel.

What are your plans for the near future? More gaming events, more back issues. We recently started expanding our manga section and will continue to.

What superpower would you most like to have? Domino’s power of “luck”/probability bending
