Comic-Kazi (Calgary, Alberta) Wes & Mary Ann Wong report: Our Free Comic Book Day was long anticipated by many enthusiasts, readers and non-readers on May 7th. It seemed too good to be true - FREE?! Comic-Kazi
had Alberta's 501st Legion Badlands Squadron on hand to add some WOW effect to
our Free Comic Book Day. Onlookers and shoppers were greeted by a host of
Stormtroopers, Jango Fett, Imperial Officers and of course the all kids'
favourite - Darth Vader. There was even little Darth lurking in his Dad's heels
in Dad's oversized boots. Members of the Squadron came Star Wars and Batman Strikes were this year's hottest picks! Definitely another great FCBD! |
